Responsible for installation, implementation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of 4 and 2 stroke marine, rail traction and power generation engines installations.
- To assist or be responsible for work tasks in accordance with assigned responsibilities
- Being able to carry out maintenance and repair of 4 and 2 stroke engines and associated systems
- Support the implementation of field maintenance procedures
- To be able to carry out performance tests, troubleshooting & root cause analysis
- To be able to work with engine automation & mechanical systems, providing support to Customers within guidelines stipulated by the client
- Implementation of tasks as part of the maintenance of engines
- On site Customer operational support in all stages of a project
- Support the implementation of HSE standards in maintenance activities
You can help us with these qualifications
- Understanding of the business on both technical and commercial levels
- At least 2 years of experience of in depth overhaul, service and repair of high or medium speed engines, preferably in the marine industry or power plant industries
- IT Proficient with experience of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated application engineering approach
- Apprenticeship time served mechanical or mechatronic Engineer or Comparable vocational education with long time work experience
